Being exposed to a University and comparing the various technology from high school some things are taken care very differently. For example the way attendance is take or the way you participate in class. With this new device called the i-clicker that comes in a size of a television remote control it makes it easier to have students participate in large classes. Taking attendance can also be done through this device. Some teachers even use it to have students take multiple choice test. It is just a new innovation that affects student like myself in the sense to adapt to a new device and as for professors it makes their job more easier. This could perhaps be an innovation that could spread beyond the point of education and into other areas of usability if it has not done so already.

` There are a lot of things that I have learned to explore in the limited time that i have had my computer. Well, one of the things is all the online services like email, blogs, and one things that was necessary for me to have before coming to college was a bank account. When I was first exposed to computers and transferring data I was introduced to floppy disks. Now a days the use of floppy drives has diminished. This happened because they became obsolete. A new and better way to store and transfer data was created in a flash drive. These flash drives are more convenient in transferring data because they can hold a greater amount of data and are more durable than the floppy disk. The flash drive wasn't the first improvement to floppy disks. The fist improvement came with the Zip disks. These disks may have looked like a regular floppy disk but could store more memory and was a little more durable. These disks didn't catch on because almost all computers had to have a zip disk drive installed onto it. This is where the flash drive came in. It could hold the amount of memory a zip disk could if not more and was also a fraction of the size, it was more durable, and most importantly it is easy to use with all computers, with quick and easy installation through the USB ports.
