` There are a lot of things that I have learned to explore in the limited time that i have had my computer. Well, one of the things is all the online services like email, blogs, and one things that was necessary for me to have before coming to college was a bank account. I know that this sounds like a given, but for me it was a new experience and along came the whole idea of managing bills online versus over the phone or by mail. This brought to me the advantage to have my account to view online versus waiting for a paper statement and not even have a paper statement at all. This doesn't mean i don't use mailing or phone services, but I tend not to use them as often. For me it is very convenient private in the sense that only i can see my information unless somebody manages to hack into my account it is just more private that having a statement mailed to you an it other than yourself. So, for many people that are on the go or that have privacy issues an online account would do well. You have the convenience, efficiency, and the 24/7 time advantage. There are some disadvantages, but there is always to sides to everything.

Technology means those sources that make our life easier. Dictionaries have been a resources that come in text's books, but as we have increased our ability to display things online dictionaries have also been put up. This might seem like a simple and expected advancement,but when you are perhaps editing a paper and all you have is a computer. At a time of editing a paper you might want to find other words or different meanings,but you cannot always have a text book dictionary or have a every dictionary available at all times. This is why having different types of dictionaries online makes it not only convenient, but helps to gain other resources that are not available to you. Having a dictionary online helps me when I am writing up papers and any other time I come across a term that I do not know. This is a pretty useful tool that other online users can benefit from with being able to access term meanings and even other sites to translate into other languages.
